I Care About Them

Photographed are urban wild animals from different parks in New York City. I went around Washington Square Park, Central Park, and Riverside Park South looking for animals indigenous to the city. Once I photographed the animals I personified them with short descriptions, sharing fictional anecdotes about interviewing the animals. With this piece, I was aiming to draw attention to and create appreciation for our forgotten neighbors that share the city with us.
